I paid $1.00 to annualcreditreport.com to find out my credit score and other details. I did not sign up for the monthly monitoring for $29.95. The next thing I know scoresense.com has taken $29.95 out of my credit union account. I never ever entered the scoresense.com website let alone grant them permission to take money from my credit union account. I contacted my credit union and filed a complaint, and canceled my
card. I was told by my credit union that there was nothing they could do to help me get my money back. I called scoresense.com and demanded my money back and to close the account that they illegally set up for me. They closed my account but as of yet have not given me my money back that they stole from me. I filed a complaint with the Texas BBB because they are based in Texas. I am still waiting for my money but am not holding my breath. You think there would be a safe way to find out your credit scores and to correct disputes without having to hire an attorney but I guess that is why the banking system has set things up the way they did. This way they can continue to steel money from those that can't afford it.
