We came in to look at this facility two weeks prior to our stay. When we tried to make a reservation, we were told that it was a "membership only" facility. This fact is nowhere on their web site. We were then told we could have a free weekend if we would be willing to take a 90 minute tour of the property to learn all about "the wonderful benefits of being a part of the Ocean Canyon community"

On Sunday we showed up for the tour only to get drilled for 1 1/2 hours by some moron who did nothing but scribble on pieces of paper. She wasn't even a good liar. The tour took about 45 minutes and was pretty much a waste of time since we had already looked around the week before. Then it was back to the office where we were drilled again for about another hour before we were told that the membership cost 13K. When I asked for the paperwork she had been scribbling on, she refused to give it to me.

She insisted that I fill out a credit application even though I told her that I had bad credit. She showed up at our site about 30 minutes later and picked up the app and said the sales manager wanted to personally talk to us so we jumped in the golf cart and returned to the office.

The tenacity of these two people was appalling. They just wouldn't take no for an answer. We finally had to walk out of the office after our self esteem was lowered to the point that it almost made my girlfriend cry.
