I've just experienced the same with militarycupid.com, as told by another user, see below:

I went to the dating site Militarycupid.com to join as a civilian to meet men in the military. At the end of the subscriber application the site asks for the subscriber to upload a passport, ID, or Drivers License to verify that they are not scammers. I uploaded my Passport, photos and other information about me. I've also purchased a one month membership.

Since a couple of days received interests and mails from men who absolutely didnt were the types i was looking for. There were a lot ( (afro)american men from the uk, who had profiles im badly written english although they claimed to be from the US or UK and have an master pr phd degree, yeah right. There were als men from Africa; sierra leone and sudan?! While I was looking for an American (caucasian) man.
I've mailed all by the using the sites mail service; thanked them for their interest and wished them success and do well.

A couple of hours later I got the message my profile is terminated. While a couple off days ago it has been 100% approved in combination with my passport scan I have send them. And the membership I've paid for, was just bought.

These people have photos of me, an uploaded copy of my passport and other information, also my bank account numbers.

I get the idea this site is a SCAM, or other users who you are not looking for, and tell them friendly , can report a abuse and your rofile and money is gone.

If so; this site should be shut down and charges should be filed.

  • Today I already received a mail from the military cupid team and also from their contact at Ecom holdings: Andrew.

Their was an error, they made their apologies and also offered extra membership time as a compensation.

So the problem was quickly and very good / kind resolved and this site is instead off what other negative complaints says, in my opinion wrong. They do response very quick and resolved the problem.

Thanks team military cupid and Ecom holding / Andrew

    Greetings
