I came across a recommended page on Facebook for the My Garcinia Cambogia Diet which they said is endorsed by Dr Oz. I followed the links decided I'd try the product and purchased 3 bottles. They promoted free delivery and the cost was $96.00.

The website sends you through a series of other pages, trying to up-sell to other products and services. I responded with "no thanks" to each.

The website doesn't give you a page to comfirm your transaction, it takes you straight to the payment section which should my payment was $159.00 (USD). Considerably more than I believed I was paying. I then received an email of the tax invoice. Again, showing the $159.00 (USD).

I emailed [email protected] immediately, querying why the payment amount was different to the amount I believed I was paying.

I received an email saying someone would be in touch. I didn't hear from anyone. I emailed again and they emailed back with a list of phone numbers, none work!

I had a call from them today, trying to up-sell another product which I respectfully declined. I asked repeatedly to speak to someone about the cost difference. They said they weren't authorised to answer this. I asked if the product had been sent or when it would be sent. Again they responded with they weren't authorised to answer this. Unbelievable!

I was very pleased when I came across your website.

I have shared this with the Office of Fair Trade in Australia and hope they will launch a full investigation into these people.

I have also spoken with my bank about the transaction. The bank have refunded my money. Thank god!

I was more than happy to try this product and spend money doing so. What I wasn't happy with was being charged for than I agreed to and not being responded to when I asked why. This obviously rang alarm bells with me instantly.

I will now be contact Dr Oz who they say promotes this product, to make sure he is aware of these scammers. It's hardly helping his reputation.
