I applied for a personal loan online. I was contacted by a man named David Cole. He didn't even ask for legitimate loan information but I was "approved" for a loan from 1000-5000 dollars. It was supposedly going to be transferred into my bank account within 35 minutes. I was contacted by his supervisor and asked to send them the first payment (for a loan I didn't even have) as insurance of future payments. I refused because at this point I googled USA personal loans and the first thing that popped up was SCAMBOOK! When they called back again they said that it was another company using their name and that they were a legitimate company. I declined on the loan. I've had at least 15 phone calls from various numbers, all from people with the same Indian accent as "David Cole" and his supervisor, offering me money up to $5000.00. When I ask what company they are from they hang up immediately. Some calls are even from unknown numbers. I didn't lose any money but I am glad I looked it up and saw this website.
