We purchased a two bedroom timeshare and were pulled in by their promises for a water park just like everyone else. Now, Orange Lake them out and we just got notified we need to pay an additional $690.00 because they it was run down and not repaired on top of additional $26.00 each month in maintenance fees. My question is...what resolution came. Of the water park dupe and what the heck was Colonial Crossings doing with our maintenance fees to begin with.? This is not a condo, it's a time share! They should have had more than enough money to pay for the repairs because its not one person paying maintenance on a unit..but hundreds of people paying for the units. what were they doing with the money. Did anyone initiate an audit and if so, what was the outcome. Should we have to pay that additional $690.00? Seems like a lawsuit somewhere.. Just don't know who to file with and what outcome , if any came of the water park scam. I would think there would be some resolution here for the owners except to keep forking out money for something they have never used and fees that were not used appropriately for repairs. What say you?
