I got a call from a woman who barely spoke English, saying i had been chosen to receive 9,000 dollars out of 1,000 people from a government grant that didn't have to be paid back. I knew it was a scam as soon as she said I was chosen because I had good credit. haha no I don't! and as soon as i started reading online complaints to her and making sure she knew I was on to her, she hung up on me. but before I told her I was on to her I got a return call number and a verification number. so I called the return number and it sounded like a guy answering his phone from his house, and asked me what I was calling about. and so I said to him you should already know what I'm talking about. If you're the government it should be a lot more professional then this. He sat there in silence. and then just made a noise when I told him I would sue.
