I ordered 13 different sample watch phones from a Mr. David Lee (Sales Manager) and was given a DHL tracking number. One week later, I emailed to ask why the tracking number wasn't showing on the DHL website. I was told that there was 9 days of holiday starting on October 1st. David said he would check my order on Monday (10/10/11). On October 13, the DHL website is still showing no such tracking number. Again I emailed David to query why there was no tracking information yet. I began to search online to see if I could find out more information about the company I had ordered from. I discovered that Nat lost $350 to Shenzhen Cgbl Electronic Wholesale Company (www.szcgbl.com) and while I was reading how Steven (the sales manager for Shenzhen Cgbl Electronic) had requested 40% more because customs was holding up Nat's order for sales tax, I received an email from David that read as follows: "I just checked your order,I was informed your goods were detained by our customs.The customs requested us to pay the Sales Tax of 40% if we want to export consumer electronics to your country.Can you pay for it?I am so sorry.Pls pay it now,then the customs will let your goods pass." So I sent an email back to David saying, "Collect my order from customs. I would like to purchase $10,000 worth of product from you and I will come personally to collect it. [I was serious because if David had products at the prices he was selling them for, I was happy to get $10,000 worth.] Is it convenient to meet with you this week?"
