Noticed on my banking statement a charge for 29.95 to tnk crd88 with a phone number 888-557=7857. I called them to find out who they were. They said they were a credit reporting agency and I signed up for them to monitor my credit at 29.95 a month. She requested my phone number to look up my account. After giving her several different phone numbers that might be associated to me, the 3rd one pulled up "MY ACCOUNT". She stated I had authorized debting my account for the last 6 months. She had all my banking information. I told her I've never heard of them and would never authorize such a payment ever to come out of my account. I am on a limited income, I never authorize automatic deductions except for my life insurance, which happens to be 29.93 a month. I told her I was calling my bank right away & tell them to not allow them to take money from my account.I told her they are a scam company for sure.
She said I didn't need to be threatening. I said I haven't threatened you. She said calling my bank was a threat. (It was a promise) She said well your bank is only going to get you back 3 months worth of your money. I'll give you back four. What the heck.I called my back right away and have filed complains against them. When they checked my account the last 29.95 was credited back to my account. They got on that fast. But they didn't give me back the 4 months as promised much less the 6 months they had been taking out of my account.
