I received a phone call from an Indian guy, he said his name was Eric Watson from Fianacial Resources. He stated that I was selected to receive a government grant to use for school or for my personal use. He went on to say that the only thing he needed from me was $3.87 and wanted to know the Visa card I was going to use. I asked him why, he said he needed my bank address along with my VISA card number in order to receive this grant. I told him I didn't like giving my card information out on the phone, epecially to an India guy. He insure me that his company was a trusted source, so he went on and told me the company name, address, state, and zip code. He also said once my card number was confirmed with the $3.87 payment that I would receive an email from his company with a comfirmation number, user name, password and it will also list the amount I would received. He was very adament trying to get me to give him my card info. After I kept telling him no, he put his so called boss on the phone, like this was going to change my mind. So I ask his boss if I can put the $3.87 money order in the mail. Of course, he said no, that the card info is needed for the amount his employee had requested from me and this exact $3.87 will be recorded on my bank statement. Again, after repeating myself to his boss and his boss refusing my $3.87 money order in the mail, I quickly told him that I was going to denied this so-called grant. When I refuse on his request he went on and ask me if I knew what I was doing, when I just turn down this financial grant. I quickly told him I know exactly what I was doing and that I was going to sleep soundly tonight. Afterward, he sounded as if he was getting mad, I didn't care at the least. I went on ahead and told him that this sound like a SCAM and I know a Financial Source Branch will not call you for your personnal bank info and card number to receive grants. He hung up the phone. EVERYONE PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!
