Requested a cancellation of this service and refund to my credit. They stated that I would have to send them an e-mail stating that I agree to their terms of a refund of only 270.00. I paid them 600.00 on 11 May. I understood that they would be loading information on my computer to help in detecting, preventing and deleting potential virus's on my computer. After a month my computer has been running slower. I had no way of updating or checking on what they said they did. I called on 19 June to have this account cancelled and mt credit refunded. They charged me $120.00 for a "free gift", which they said that was because I did not continue with the program???? I told then that I had not received their free gift...so I shouldn't be charged for it. Does not make sense to me. Also when I received the --so called free gift their purchase price was $54.07 with free shipping. ( thanks to Amazon Invoice)

  • Dear Melissa,
We are sad and dejected to see such type of complaint from the customer. We are a customer oriented organization and believe in transparent relationship. We have already refunded $360.00 in your account on 06/24/2013 after receiving a confirmation email from you on the same day.
You called us on 19th June 2013 through online chat and stated that “You already have service support from the ISP and want Refund from us”. Your call was transferred to customer service and was requested for an email so that we can process your refund. You were updated that as per the company policy and the electronic contract you had with us, your primary issue was resolved and the cooling period of 15 days are gone but as a goodwill gesture we will refund $360.00(instead of $320.00) money after deducting the charges, which we did without any delay or any arbitrator.
We would also like to highlight on the free gift policy of the company that we give gift to our customers who go for such type of plan, but if customer wants refund then we accept the gift if it is not used/opened. No company can gift “Free Gift” to anyone who is not enrolled with the company.
Please find herewith the deduction cost justification. The cost of the Hard disc is $54.07
    Our charges –
    1. $99.99 for the resolution provided by us for primary issue which stands resolved confirmed as “yes” by you(as per the electronic contract between you and us).
    2. $39.99 for one time termination fees applicable after 15 days of subscription (Please refer Case 2 of our refund policy http://www.livepcexpert.com/refund.php)
    3. $46.00 for installing Anti-Virus
    4. $54.07 for providing Toshiba 500GB Portable Hard Drive including the shipping charges.
This amount was agreed by you as per the e mail:
We can share all the documents if you wish so.

    Regards,

    Customer Care
    Live PC Expert
