Shoppers Advantage and Great Fun

After buying a ticket on Ticket Master, I saw an ad for "GREAT FUN": a website that promises "deals" on entertainment activities like movies, shopping, dining etc. With my first month's membership for only $1, I was promised a coupon for my next Ticket Master purchase. I went ahead and made an account with "GREAT FUN," hoping to get a coupon for my next Ticket Master purchase. I never received my coupon and and cancelled my account with "GREAT FUN" within the first month so that I wouldn't have to be charged. Somehow my account information was transferred to "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE" and I was charged 16.99 each month for the last 6 months. I tried getting my money back through "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE" not knowing how they got my information. They told me I had to have a cancellation confirmation, but I didn't with them. I didn't realize the two companies were connected until I searched on the web information about scams with "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE" and "GREAT FUN" being connected. Once I found they were connected to "GREAT FUN," I found my cancellation confirmation email from "GREAT FUN." I immediately called "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE" back and told them I figured out how they got my account information. At first they told me they were not connected with "GREAT FUN" and I asked how else would they have gotten my information. They were quick to send me to the supervisor and offer 4 months reimbursement, but would not give me the other two months. The supervisor then said what I signed up for was for "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE" and "GREAT FUN," when they just said the two companies were not connected. When the only thing I really signed up for was "GREAT FUN!" SCAM!!!! Watch out for "SHOPPERS ADVANTAGE" and "GREAT FUN"!!!!!!!!
