I took an online survey and when done was invited to pick a free trial as a reward for taking a survey. I received a charge on my bill of $139. The company name did not appear on my bill but rather a phone number was listed with the charge. I called
and was told I received a free trial and she said I received an email for confirmation. I told her I did not recall an email stating the anti wrinkle gel was $139 and would receive further shipments. The first person said she could refund only $100. Of course, I got extremely upset and stated I would call my credit card company and would have the charge removed and report them to the BBB. I was then turned over to a manager who satisfactorily stated the account would be cancelled and I would receive a full refund. I told her the business practice was deceptive and I thought the 7.8 ounce bottle was a sample reward for taking the survey. The first person I spoke to was rude, talked over me, failed to listen and continued to repeat a few times company policy. She stated I received a twenty day trail and was told in the email the bottle was $139 and I would continue to receive the product unless they heard otherwise from me. The issue was resolved after my blood pressure rose. The manager was professional. The fist person definitely was not.
