i received a call from an Anton between mid day to afternoon. He told me he was calling from Platinum trust card with a terrific deal, now of course his pitch included that this card was a master card from Platinum trust and it could be used for purchases at any store such as Walmart and such. He said I could get it for 89.00 and it would have a fee of 19.00 per month but the 1st month would be waived. I asked several questions about the card including what bank was it issued with and he said it was with Cubis Bank in Utah. I also kept asking about it being used in any store just like any other credit card and he said "yes maam it could" and again i kept asking questions like again the cost for the card and about the monthly fee and the 1st month being waived and all through the conversation i was looking up this Cubis Bank in Utah and there does appear to be a Cubis Bank in Utah. He said if i got the card it would take 5 to7 business days for me to receive it and then all i had to do was log in to the website and activate it. Well he made it sound so good and i, being in a difficult situation in my life, agreed to the card, so i gave him my bank information. The money was taken out on 9/2/11 and only appears as a draft withdrawal, i was also charged an nsf charge and then on 9/30/11 another 19.00 was charged again only appearing as a draft withdrawal and again i was charged an nsf charge. When i got the card it was just a simple card with a number and my name on it, i thought that strange because normally a credit card has an expiration date and the 3 numbers on the back of the card, so i tried to log on and it asked me for my member # which i didnt have but i tried the card # and it did not take it saying information was wrong to try again. I have been calling this company since then and i can never get through, the only times i did get through was at the Utah office for billing questions, because that is the only # it gives for billing questions and i was told by several people in different calling times that i had to call the Delaware office being that i belonged to that office and every time i call to that # the first thing you hear is "if you would like to cancel please email us at [email protected] " then it tells you something else and then it tells you that if you still have any questions to press 1 and when you do, you get a recording telling you that they have a large volume of calls to call back later and later never has come for me. I am so angry that the people in Utah are rude when i call and can never have an answer but that you belong to the Delaware office and before you can say anything, they transfer you. There is no getting through to this company and that's when i started suspecting something fishy and as i come to find out it's a SCAM!!
