My wife took a survey that popped up on qvc. Promised a free watch for answering three questions. Yesterday her credit card bill came. There was a 99.99 charge from a company she did not know: ccbill.com. Found the charge originated with Qmaximus. Ccbill said another 59.99 was coming because the "agreement" was that you cancel within 14 days or get charged 99.99 for first watch and that each month another would be sent and charged unless you cancelled. Credit card company will cancel charges after receiving confirmation that mercandise was shipped back (which cost 7.71) Carolyn does not remember giving the credit card number or reading the disclaimer and conditions which you can find on qmaximus web site.

- I too was scammed! There was NO disclaimer! They said they were giving away free gift cards with purchase, they also said I would be getting a very different watch. When I got it...it was a JOKE but my bill wasn't. I was able to get the third party ccbill.com to return some of the money (only half of the "subscription" to whatever the heck they are providing...which is no service whatsoever). They told me to contact the company direct to get the other half. That is even more funny because they don't pick up! They refer you back to ccbill. I was scammed for a lot more than than your wife so you are lucky...I hope you got it back though. Any amount is too much!
