After calling the TV ad toll-free number I elected the option for "express" puchasing, which was fully automated and appears very professional, until you are "trapped" in the system. After giving the necessary order and payment information, I was solicited for 7 other products (unrelated to Flex Seal), with no option to exit the system. Since I had yet to receive a Total dollar amount for my order, and confirmation number, I continued listening. The last automated announcement connects you to a cruise line company, for 2 free days travel. Despite stating NO 4x, the rep continued to solicit my free trip. I asked that I be re-connected to Flex Seal, to which I was advised they have no way to re-connect calls; i.e. they can only receive calls. Since I did not receive a confirmation I called back and asked what my total would be. The rep told me the amount had yet to post, however, the amount for two regular sized cans with extra processing charges would be $39.89. I told the rep I would not proceed unless he could confirm for sure my amount. He put my account "on Hold" and asked me to call back on 9/30 for my amount...which I did today. Low and behold the amount which would soon be posted to my account is in error-$79.78!! After an attempt to save the sale, the rep cancelled my order and gave me a cancel confirmation number. This rep futher advised I would also receive an email cancellation confirmation. Had my account not been put "on hold" my credit card would have been double billed. After my call with Flex Seal I also called my credit card vendor to place a stop payment on this transaction - shows how much I trust this company. Once resolved I will no doubt obtain another credit card number, as I do not trust what this orgranization will do now that they have my credit card number and address. Remember, I received 7 other product solicitations while on the phone, including diabetic products. As I type this note, guess what ad is on my TV? Flex Seal!!
