I have been receiving calls from Las Vegas, NV since 4/8/13 daily advising us that we have won first prize in the mega millions sweepstakes and lottery which is to be 8.2 million dollars. So far we have been asked to get a MoneyPak green dot card and with $300
on it and gave the scratched number to the caller, Mr. William Washington, We drive We drive 2 hours round trip to buy the card. That card I scratched off and gave the information to Mr. Washington. He sais he is the head of the office there in Las Vegas. He gave the address as 303 Carson Street in Las Vegas. He has 2 phone numbers - the first is 206-414-3296; the second is 309-228-8973. These numbers both work as We have called and spoken with him. We are supposed to be getting a Mercedes Benz car and a check for 8.2 million dollars. After the first conversation with him he calls back and wants us to send more MoneyPak green cards because he needs additional money for two state stamps that cost $400 apiece from the Kansas atttorney general office of Kansas to attach to the awarded check. He was going to fly in the company jet to Norton, Kansas along with 14 other people to present this to us. Now he needs more money for the trip out here on their jet. The amount is $1,500.00. Also the stamp of approval on the check would $750.00 I do realize this is a scam; however, we are already out some money. They are supposed to be flying here tomorrow to present the prize to us. It seems as though every day there is another reason to tell us that we must come up with more money for something. Mr. Washington said that we needed to buy two state stamps from the Kansas attorney General of $400 each. The next day, I called the Kansas Attorney General's office and they had never heard of this kind of stamp at all. If you can assist us, please let me know. ---- Deanna (Personal Information Removed)
