Feb 2013 I was offered a yellow page ad, free for 2 months and I could before 2 months. If I wished to continue I would then pay. For the ad. It was not mentioned if it was to be online or in a phone book. I agreed to the free trial. The 2 months elapsed and received two phone calls that I owe $840, which I declined to pay.
I died accept the terms and the original conversation was recorded without my knowledge. After the original call when I consented to the 2 mos trial I received no confirmation. I did not have the company's phone number or location and could not call or write or mail in order to cancel before the trial period. No confirmation or invoice came by mail.
On April 18 I received a call from a Kimberly Sweat - spelling ? - telling me I must pay the $840 which I declined to do. I am now faced with collection.

- What ended up happening? Because this had happened to me. Just two days ago and they stated they would send me all the cancellation info and etc via my email, which I gave them. I asked repeatly and they confirmed no problem, so I figured I would give a try. My gut said something when I didn't get that email. So online I went and found all of this. YIKES! I attempted to email my cancellation via their contact listed on their site, but it's not valid. Please tell me what happen and what do you suggest?
