I purchased a ShoreTel phone system in July 2011 from Robert Carlson / Vanguard Phones. After many excuses, and many, many phone calls, I received a server and a switch, but no phones, by the end of August. It is now the end of September, and I still have just 2 pieces of equipment. Robert now will not return my calls or emails, leaving me with an incomplete and unusable phone system. Through various ShoreTel dealers I have contacted to try to find the other pieces of equipment I need, I have heard of many other people that have been taken by Mr. Carlson. Definitely do NOT buy anything from Robert Carlson, Vanguard Phones, Vanguard Communications, or his 2 ebay names "malibu_phones" and "used_shoretel".
