I was contacted through email from Monster.com about a secret shopper opportunity. Since it came from a well known employment website I thought it was legit. I submitted my information and received a email letting me know I will receive my first assignment in the mail. Sure enough the assignment came in the mail today. It was a money order for $985.00 sent to me from a Wendy Davis that lived 3288 View Ridge Dr. Long Beach, CA. With this money order was a letter with instructions to cash the money order at my bank...Why my bank? After I was to cash the money order I was suppose to keep $150 for my fees and send the rest to a Tiffany Nucci and send a email with a report about the services I received. What stuck out to me was this was suppose to be a secret SHOPPING assignment. Where is the shopping? But it still didn't spark any red flags. What really got me to questioning this was when I looked for their contact information and couldn't find it, so I decided to google about it and came across this website. I'm so glad I did and I'm glad to see people are willing to let it be known and help others out.
