Ordered $89 worth of shoes on Sept. 7 and as of Sept. 27, all I have to show for it is an extremely cheap Minnie Mouse bag sent registered mail from China.

- I placed my order with Ben-Shoes on 9/2/11; sent two emails, beginning 10 days later, getting no response. I also received a bag (Hannah Montana, in my case) from China, but no identifying invoice to say it had anything to do with Ben-Shoes (this was a fatal mistake on their part, I think!). I submitted a claim via Paypal for "item not received," but today spoke with them, and it's changed to "wrong item sent," or however they describe it. The Paypal rep said this is a rapidly growing type of scam... but "We'll get your money-- it may take a while, but we'll get it!" Another great reason to use Paypal, especially when the deal looks too good to be true, as this one did!
BTW-- save the bag, and the packaging, in case they need the evidence.

Update: I was scammed out of $30.49 from this bogus company. PayPal decided to rule in my favor...
