I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 1490LMT GPS and was told to pay for the purchase by using a GreenDot 'MONEYPAK' card. I sent buyamazingtech the MoneyPak number so they could confirm receipt of payment, they cashed in the card and sent me an email saying they were temporarily out of stock and the gps would ship on Sept 23rd. I have sent them numerous emails and have not had a response yet. Their customer service line is a phone tree that always leads you to the response of 'not available'

I called GreenDot MoneyPak on Sept 9, 2011 and reported that I felt I'd been scammed. They told me I had to file a police report and have the police subpoena GreenDot records to get the name of the person that cashed in the card. GreenDot was able to tell me that the money went to a pre-paid personal debit card and GreenDot opened an investigation into the matter upon my call. Since I had an email stating the item would ship on Sept 23 I had to wait to file a police report, but now that the date has passed I will be filing said report.
