I was approved for a $5,000.00 loan from James Harris. All we had to do was send them a deposit of $786.00 through Western Union, to Spain. This was sent on 9/15/11. Our loan was supposed to be deposited into our account between 12pm-3pm on 9/16/11. At about 2:30pm on 9/16/11 Michael Dunn calls us and tells us the lender is requiring another security deposit of $786.00 after checking our credit. My husband became upset and requested a refund of our deposit, Michael Dunn said no, if we want it we have to come to Atlanta GA to get it ourselves. After going back and forth, Michael stated after they receive the second deposit, the money would be in our account on Saturday 9/17/11, he stated it was not a business day, but he was going into the office and the accounting department would be in at 11 AM to do the deposit. We again sent the second deposit of $786.00 on 9/16/11. We never heard from Michael on 9/17/11, we tried calling the office all day, we kept getting transferred to voicemail, everything is automated, you can never speak to a live person. Monday 9/19/11 came and we called the office many times, finally getting in touch with James Harris at 9:30 Am who stated Michael is in meetings but our money should be deposited by 12 PM. It was not. We called James and Michael all day with no anwsers or return phone calls. I emailed James Harris demanding a response. My husband received a return call from Michael at 3:30 PM stating he was in meetings all day about our case, he said the original lender backed out, but they were able to find another lender who will approve us at $10,000.00. The new lender required another deposit, but as a "favor" to Belltree they waived the additional deposit. Michael told my husband he was typing up the new contract and will email it to me within the hour. By 6PM still no email, my husband called again this time the phone line was out of service. On Tuesday 9/20/11 we tried calling all day, the phone was back in service but no anwser, just forwarded to voicemail with no return calls. 9/21/11 we have been calling all morning with again no anwser or response. This is a scam and I have never been more mad in my entire life. We are now behind on bills because of the deposits that were made sent to them!
