On 6/10 I buy a 2 days cruise to the Bahamas paying #118.00 that i could use by calling 60 days prior to the cruise date. When I decided to do so, I call to set up the date, someone in the reservation office transfer me to the sales department. I end buying another cruise to the Bahamas, two nights at a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale including all meals, a one week rental car for another $366.00. After all I thought that I was accredited the #118.00 but they not. I call again and some one said that I could use this cruise reservation for someone else. So I transfer it to my son in law and my daughter. (For his birthday)
The day for the trip came:
1- I went to the rental car agency at the Orlando Airport, I could not rent the car because they needed a credit card and $400.00 deposit. I offer my debit card and $400.00 and they said no. I was inform by the Caribbean Cruise Line agent that the rental car company takes debit cards, that there was no problem. So we end using our own car.
2-We went to the hotel in Ft. Lauderdale and to get the tickets that I pay $366.00 and #118.00 They said that we most attend a sales presentation (Time Share) I was not told so whem I buy. (Most of the Time Share companies give you travel and hotel free just to attend) Any way we went to the 90 minutes presentation, they said there was a restaurant with a good menu , but we only get a ham and cheese sandwich and a coke.
3-We whent to the hotel a very bad one, a room with no air, floor flooded with water so at 1:AM they put us in another room after a big argument.
4-We went to the port to finally get the ship, but once in the counter they tell me that the cruise was over sold and they have no reservation for us, that we had to way till 5:PM to see if there was a cancellation or we could buy a suite for an extra cost at a regular price paying in full. Them they refer to my son in law that his birth certificate was invalid (This was a valid one)
Any way we lost time, money and suffer for all the inconvenients we had.
To make it short and have this clear out: I want the $484.00 that I pay for the trips plus the gas money, meals and paring up to $248.05 total of $732.05
