Complaint 20131 Details Scan your bills for fraud
- Date Occurred: 07/30/2011
- Reported Damages: $59.95
An informational box popped up on my desktop. It said something like, "Your computer is ready to crash. It is infected with viruses. Do not do anything except click this restore button."
So I did. It said it fixed the virus, but needed my credit card number to continue. I didn't know what to do because I didn't want my computer to crash. The company that came up was XP Security 2012.
Help me get my money back.
