Complaint 1966 Details

I received a phone call telling me that UPS would deliver a package containing money. I was given a UPS # and a Package#. Then told I had to go to Walgreens and purchase a Green Dot Reload card for $5.99. I couldn't understand this person very well as his call was not clear or he kept fading out. I think he wanted me to put 50.00 on the card and give it to the UPS man who would deliver my package by 1:00p.m. today. I needed to get this card as it would have a serial number on it that the UPS man would need. When I asked what is in the package he said 350.000.00 and that I should not tell anyone because he didn't want me to be robbed or the UPS man. I went to Walgreen's and talked to them and they too thought this is a scam. They are going to put this information out to all their stores to be on the look out. The caller also wanted to me to give him my cell phone number which I refused to do.
