i have recently applied for a loan from city financial...they took £65 for what i was led to believe was admin and loan transfer fee......i was told that this would assure me that the loan amount would be paid into my account by friday once i had signed there terms and conditions.....this i recieved via email, after asking for it this way......they told me that they were the lenders......then yesterday a company named loans centre ltd rang me, and repeated all the information i had told city financial, said that i had been accepted for the loan and because they werent asking for a guarantor, can i please pay £50 using a ukash voucher...this was to show that i could afford my monthly fee.......they even told me where to go and buy one of these vouchers in my area as i had never heard of them.....this is did, then was told to wait 30 mins and his accounts manager would ring me to confirm amount and name and bank details.......this other man then rang me confirmed everything and assured me that all money would be in my account today between 10 am and 10.30 am.....this never appeared, so i rang the numbers they had rung me on and got no answer at all....the persons name is Jack Rowlands...and the telephone numbers are.....001212880405..... and 00117525167425......Then today another company rang me named...loan and finance ltd, said similar things i.e that city financial had sent them all my details and can i pay my first months fee...i explained to him what had happened yesterday, his reply was, i am sorry this happened madam, but if you pay £47....something today i will repay that £50, and your brokers fee of £65 ontop of the loan into your bank withing 20 mins.......this did shock me as why would he want to pay me back money which was illegally taken from me under false pretenses......i am on benefits and really cannot afford this kind of loss,
