I was reviewing my online checking account and I noticed a strange transaction with a different check number then mine. It was a Check Conversion Voucher from Alliance in the amount of $29.95 with a 1-877-886-0144. I called the # and they said it was a monthly subscription to what they believed was porn. They said they work for the other company handling all the money transactions as a third party. They stopped the subscription and said there would be a credit with 7-10 days and gave me a confirmation #. When I called back way after 10 days, they said they had a computer crash and that it would be another 30 days before I received my credit back to my checking account. I am now turning it over to my bank to handle it further. These people need to be punished for this scam that is going on.
