Please note--no monetary damages were incurred, but I strongly suspect we would have sustained significant losses (as much as $5K) had we not immediately cancelled. Please consider posting this review as a warning to others.

My wife and I were just in Vegas last week and were approached by a recruiter on Freemont St. about attending a presentation. We had the afternoon open and figured we'd at least get a free meal and a show out of the deal. Turns out it was Prestige Software (another name for this group). If you're still trying to locate them, we went to an office at 3790 Paradise Road, Suite 210, Las Vegas, NV 89169.

Don't feel bad that you were an intelligent person who got duped--we did too and signed on for a $5000 package (price started at $17K, they immediately cut it to $9K and even then we weren't going to bite). After about 2hrs there, we were worn down and signed on the dotted line. I did know that you have 72hrs to cancel a contract like this without obligation and I did see that was in the contract. Good thing, because only after we left did we start to realize much that we had overlooked. Lots of promises thrown around--plenty of trips for stupid cheap. No problems with cancellation as long as you brought "insurance" (but no mention of that in the contract). Our login and password would take 17 days to process--long after we were home from Vegas and the 3-day cancellation period. We asked for some kind of immediate access to the website and were told they'd send us home with one (that never materialized). At one point, we asked to have access to the website there in the office and only afterwards did we realize that this caused an apparent stir--three guys over there to "assist" us and never really giving us full control of the computer. And, despite all of that, we signed up and didn't really read the red flags till that evening when a quick Google raised more concern.

Sent them a certified letter the next day along with an e-mail informing them that we were exercising our right of cancellation. To their credit, we got a full refund promptly, but still cancelled our credit cards and regret how much personal information we shared with them.

What's troubling is how many different flavors and programs they have seemed to pitch. We never heard about "pennies for points" or 1M members--they kept telling us it was 320K. At the very end, they started talking about booking trips and selling them to others on Craigslist like a home-based business. There was absolutely no problem if we wanted to let other people use our website access to book their own trips (never heard of any outfit being OK with this). In the end, they got us at a weak moment and no great harm done but I can see where most people would just finish their vacation and then sort through the paperwork after they got home a week later--when it's too late to do anything about it.
