On February 28, 2012, my son ordered a custom wand from wizardwands.net. We paid $43.50 via PayPal, and received a confirmation of receipt of payment. That same day, we were contacted by the company asking for more details on the custom design. Therefore we know that the order was received and acknowledged. On March 11, we received a mass e-mail from them, stating that they were running behind and the wait for custom wands was 2-3 months. Thus we waited until May 23 (just shy of 3 months after placing the order) and inquired about the order's status. No response. We tried again on June 9 and received no response. We tried yet again on July 10, and still no response. Based on the numerous other complaints we have read on the web, I see that this is typical behavior for this company.

We have since given up on getting the wand or my son's money back, and now are filing complaints on consumer protection websites.
