I sent my blackberry bold to Gazelle.com in a bubble wrapped envelope using the shipping label they had me print. It was in pristine condition They offered 152.00. Upon arrival, they said it had a cracked screen. The unit was fully functional and pristine with no cracks or scratches upon sending it. I don't understand how this could have happened and I am very dissapointed. It was not until almost a week later that they sent me a shipping box but they had already told me they received my item.

As you have noted the item was sent in a bubble wrap envelope. It is highly possible that the packaging was not safe enough which resulted in the reported screen damage. The bubble wrap adhered to padded envelopes is not abundant. Electronics are quite fragile and should be surrounded with at least five to eight inches of rigid cushioning e.g. bubble wrap (5 to 8 inches), polystyrene chips or blocks to protect from knocks and vibration. Moreover, gadgets should be placed in a strong, rigid outer container e.g. a box and cushion to avoid movement.
