I am a reputable honest general contractor. This person/s has been using my contractors license number to advertise on Craigslist under "Skilled Services Offered". I had to stop my company's internet advertising so the State could try to reign them in. To this day the bogus ad's keep appearing mostly in Orange County, Ca. The Culprit/Fraudster advertises Services from; Solor upgrades to crown molding installations. Of course they state they are licensed using my lic #948948 I have allowed my bond to expire and give a WARNING TO HOMEOWNERS. Fernando's Handyman Services is not Licensed under the above Licence and I would call the Police while they are at your property so they don't Scam you or your neighbor. I estimate the loss of revenue to be apx. $20,000.00 in damages. Contractors should have a current "Pocket Licence" from the Contractors Board in addition to thier California DMV issued form of picture I.D. You can also verifie all info b4 you sign or agree to anything by Calling 24hrs/7days a week # 1-800-321-cslb.
