I have done everything that was required of me to do to set up a website that would make earnings but no earnings have been made. I asked for more training and they replied back with something else that I needed to do that wasn't part of the setup and I haven't been able to get that up and and running. I believe now that this is a scam.

It's worth the trouble to fill out this form if it gives me a chance to get that money back.

Thank you.

  • Hi Kelly, we also have been scammed by Genesis Consulting in Tempe AZ, but for several thousand $US. There are also other forums where other people have complained. Do you think it would be good if we could all get together on this?

  • Hi Kelly and glmnz (and Kenneth), I paid them $1,995 in September 2010 after Patricia Fields called me, and they never sent any traffic to my site. I paid for a PRWeb press release and distributed 1,495 fliers to promote the site. After about 500 visitors and no sales, I knew there was foul play. I had affiliate banners on the web pages and when my site was down a couple of Sundays before Christmas, I suspected they were bringing in a tech person to change the Commission Junction account ID numbers in the HTML codes so that sales commissions would be entered into their CJ accounts. It was obvious something was going on because of the length of the time my site was down. I called and they said they were having technical problems, but I knew they were up to something. I never figured out if the website design company and Genesis Consulting Group were separate companies. But I don't think it matters, because the purchases are all on the same page in My Back Office. I would never build a site through a website design or website tools company again because they have access to your dashboard/admin panel. To show you what scoundrels they are, I could not get possession of my domain name because they had registered it under a company name instead of my name. At the end of January 2011 (end of 4 months after purchasing the package), when I realized there weren't going to be any sales, I deleted everything I could on the site. It's still up on the Internet with an electronics store and an Amazon bookstore, and with quite a few thousand more visitors. I have no idea how many sales commissions I was cheated out of. It's obvious they use us to build the site, giving us the tools and hosting for $29.95 a month, then come back and lure us into paying for the advertising and training package. We literally paid them for ripping us off. I stupidly wrote blog posts at the suggestion of my coach Corey.

On Monday after reading your complaints, I filed a Consumer Fraud Complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's office and urge you to do the same. If they get enough complaints, they will surely investigator the company for unethical business practices and possible fraud. Please let me know if you file complaints in AZ and feel free to email me at [email protected].
