This awful person, Dorithy Ankrah, was on Christian Mingle. She will tell you that she is looking for a Man who fears the Lord; her dead Father was a pastor in Accra and says lots of cliche things like "God Will Bless You", and "By The Grace of God". She even knows bible scripture and supposedly goes to church every Sunday.

Dorithy says she likes you a lot based on your profile and values. She soon will be asking for a little money to help her pay off her nursing education because it's her Birthday; be it for books or recommendation letters to work in the USA. Shortly after she'll even send you a nursing degree certificate.

Dorithy will then use the Dying Mother Scam, possibly Appendix trouble. She will keep begging you for money and telling you she can't live without her Mom and she might kill herself and nobody else can help her. She makes it clear that she doesn't have any way to pay for medical expenses and that their clothes selling job is at a loss.

Next,she may get you to pay for her Visa and Passport and Physical Exam to leave the country. which I can't believe I fell for. . .Dorithy sent me pictures of these documents. They were obviously fakes because I finally noticed the printed lines around the letters were mismatched and blurred lettering inconsistencies.

To make a long story short and after her problem with catching Malaria and fainting because she isn't eating enough and everyone around her is starving, Dorithy will tell you that she wants to come and visit and that her life in Accra is hell on earth and she hopes to get married some day and have lots of kids and work hard to pay back the money she owes you.

First However, she needs money to pay off her property tax which she doesn't tell you till she says she has already paid for the airline ticket. She also would like you to help her friends that helped her get ready before she leaves to come see you. She won't give you much info about the process of leaving the country or give you any info about the plane ride over. . . which is where she tends to play the role of ignorant african house wife/nurse who doesn't speak much english but does speak french and the native Ghana language. She will give you phone numbers to call for verification who are in actuality her friends who pose as employees of hospitals and travel agencies.

Dorithy Ankrah poses as very sweet and is very, very persistent, she plays dumb a lot, don't fall for it. In the end she will get what she deserves and be judged accordingly but I don't want anyone else to fall into this kind of trap.
