Planned to rent a condo from Monique Morris. We signed a lease, gave her the deposit of $1700 and never heard from her again. She has not responded to any of our attempts to contact her. She also continues to post her space for rent on Craig's List. My intention of posting this is to prevent other people from being scammed by her.

- We planned to rent a condo from the same Monique Morris. We gave her a deposit of $1950 and she kept delaying our move in date. We told her we couldn't wait any longer and ask for our deposit back which she has not done. Please don't make the same mistake as we did

- We were scammed out of $3600 we paid her for deposit plus first months rent. At time of move in she made up a story that her bathroom flooded and there is mold. She never gave us our money back. She posts her 2 b/2b condo on Craigslist all the time, and also posts a room to share in her condo. Avoid her at all costs and if you have been scammed by her, too, please comment on this post. Maybe one day she will hopefully get caught and put in jail where she belongs.
