I received an email from Overstocked Auctions to participate in a bidding site that was offering electronics, called ZBiddy. Silly me! I registered and provided credit card information. I was not prompted to accept terms or conditions, nor did a receive the promised confirming email that would assign a password to give me access to the site. I engaged in a LiveChat with a representative "Monica"that told me "too bad" intital payments for bids are non-refundable. This was within a half hour of registering and I was still trying to figure out how to access the site. They are charging me $60.00 for a mistake.

I never signed up for these scammers - the fact that I receive more than a dozen emails a day and the unsubscribe link does not work should provide fair warning to anyone that these are crooks.
If they get your address, you cannot stop them - they use every spammer's trick in the book.
Feel free to hack them with a clear concience!
I am sorry you lost money Linda, but if you can make some kind of legal claim they might leave you alone. If they were in my country we could report them just for the illegal spamming activities.
