I was sold a new Samsung 52-inch LCD television (LN52a650) that was listed on Amazon.com for $1.00. I purchased it,was charged $44.74 shipping and $3.77 tax. I called customer service a day later and asked if this was real. I was told that if the ad said that, then yes it was true. The next day, Amazon sent me an email telling me it was out of stock and was refunding my money. I looked and they had pulled the ad off the internet. I feel that this was fraudulant advertising. I asked them to substitute it with something comparable and they do not want to do that. They are telling me that it is between me and the seller (Samsung). I feel that it is between the seller and Amazon because if was on their website and payment was made to Amazon.I have turned it over to the BBB. I haqd hoped this could be resolved without having to do this, but apprently it is not. I have copies of the ad, the contract of sale, and the television description. I am a very unhappy customer.
- Seeking Resolution: Other
- I want a new television( preferrably the same brand) with the same features for the price that was advertised for $1.00.
