On Aug 14, 2012, I purchased two tires for my Chrysler Pacifica. Immediately after driving away, the "tire pressure system" check light on the dash board illuminated. I checked the tire pressure, and the tires were all inflated to 35psi. Then, on September 19th, I noticed that one of the inner hub caps was missing, having fallen off since the tire replacement. I pulled off the other three inner hub caps, and noticed that one of the three hub caps was missing the wire support ring that backs the attachment clips. <br />
I returned to Costco on Sep 23, 2012. The tire pressure light was still illuminated, and I check the tire pressure, which was still at 35psi. I inquired with the attendant if there were a wire support for this other hub cap, and after looking, he shrugged and told me there was none. Then I told him about the tire pressure system check light, and he asked me to leave the car with him. After I returned to pick up the car, he told me that he had added ADDITIONAL AIR TO THE TIRES!!!, and that he took it for a test drive, and the light was not illuminated. I said, "Yes, adding additional air pressure will make the light go out, but it should not be illuminated at 35psi." He said that he didn't notice that the light was illuminated, but if it comes on again, to bring it back in.
