I purchased a new van from a GM Dealer in 06. While it was under warrenty told the dealer I bought it from about a few things one being rear doors would open while I was driving they said bring it in I did well didn't happen then so they said they had to see it happen to fix the problem? told them about the handle cover on passengers front door kept coming off they put it on boom its off in a day or so told them a number of times about the key fobs not working they were replaced but still don't work. Earlier this yr while the weather was cold my husband likes the elec. heated seats he turned them on too me always seemed too hot but his started burning toasted his fanny and other a wee bit so we pulled the fuse. I wrote to GM they said sorry your vechicle is too old to check and repair. This seems to me like an electrical issue that should be on recall but no not for GM. When I purchased the van they gave me papers for tires for warrenty something went wrong went told them sorry thats with the tire company You put them on not me why couldn't they get new tires but I had to go to a differant dealer buy new tires. Why bother giving me the warrenty on them?
I don't know if its the dealer or the manufacter but I must say I blame GM the most.
I even told a few friends if they offered me a replacement today new only one way I would take it thats in chocolate brown so I could have a bumper sticker or licence plate made saying "I AM DRIVING A PIECE OF (Inappropriate Content Removed)" These cars they talk buy made in America they are not made in America they are "assembled in America" thats all.

For the cost we really don't get a "true warrenty" It's sick that these companies get funds from our govt. to rip off the coustomers.
