I was on Travelocity web site looking up travel info. Message said sign up for more savings I did fill out info. Then I was uncomfortable with additional info they were asking so I thought I clicked out of that screen & continued to look up travel info. I never gave this another thought until I just noticed it on my checking account statement.
I called PNC Bank they gave me the name of the CO & a ph # 888-593-5216. After speaking with them they told me they sent me an Email that stated I would be charged each mo if I didn't cancel this plan in 30 days. I am sure I deleted it because I had no idea what it was. It did not mention it was sent in connection with Travelocity at all. I am sure this is a scam & I have been charged $23.95 each mo since April 1 2011. After speaking with BBB of NE they informed me that they have had 2151 complaints. They go by several names MVQ Savingsace & Vertrue Inc. are the ones they told me.
I can't believe there has been this many complaints & this is still going on. I will never use Travelocity again. They are getting millions of dollars from people daily. What is going to be done about this? I will look fwd to your response.
