This is obviously a scam.
My computer has been locked by this United States Cyber Security and they want $200.00 by pay pack to unlock it. They even tell you where you can purchase the pay pack at.

Does anyone know how to unlock the computer.

  • search for removal procedures on ctfmon.lnk and/or wpbto.dll. I am sorry I cannot articulate removal procedures well but fear not ...someone will. Those are the likely villain files within this scam.

  • it just happened to me. with wimdows 7 and windows xp all you have to do is manualy disconnect your internet modem or move out of range from wifi. restart your computer and the block shouldnt pop up because their is no internet connection. go to your control pannel and add another user profile/account (administrator account/ profile) to your pc and delete your old one. ***MAKE SURE YOU SELECT KEEP FILES SO YOU WONT LOSE ANY DOCUMENTS*** after that your pc should be fixed.
