    • Outlet.com.sg Complaint / User Submitted Image #144315

Previously, I bought 2 H20 5-in-1 Steam Mop from Outlet.com.sg, one with ($79) and one without ($59) delivery specifically. The coupon had clearly stated that the redemption period starts from 28 June to 28 July 2012. It was ironic that they had only managed to send out an email on the 5th July 2012 to inform of the delay in shipment. It was totally bizarre to me that it would be a ONE MONTH delay in the shipment even though the product has been shipped out!

Although I was disappointed, I thought that nothing went wrong and I continued to shop on their website and bought a OneTouch Handsfree Can Opener costing $12.90. As it came with a Normal Mail Delivery, all I had to do was to fill in the Redemption Form by 30 June 2012 and my product would be sent out by 6 July. I've waited for it till 19th July 2012 before deciding to send a mail to Outlet.com.sg. The reply I got was 'As the shipment for the handsfree can opener was delayed, the merchant will be sending it directly to customers who bought this deal. It will be sent to your mailing address, Free of charge by normal mail. The latest update we got from the merchant is that they will be sending it out in two weeks time. Once the merchant send the items out by mail, we will notify customers on when was the item sent.'. I gave it another 2 weeks time to reach me but eventually it didn't.

The next thing I knew of was that Outlet.com.sg had been liquidated. I would really hope to get my losses back. The service from this company was totally absurd, irresponsible and ridiculous! To think that days before their liquidation they are still promoting deals, what is their motive? There were even rumors that staff had already knew that they were closing down way before the customers know it and they could still delay the redemption dates for their products! Personally I do agree with another victim who stated 'As a result, i am unable to file dispute claims with Paypal as it has already exceeded 45 days (Paypal policy). It was a planned operation with intention to mislead customers into thinking they were assured of receiving their products eventually.'.

It was such a bad and horrible experience that it totally made me hesitate my purchase twice when I view other similar deal websites.
