This really is such a long story but the short of it is.
My daughter got a small inheritance and wanted to find a small place in Kansas to move her and her son. It would surely improve their lives.
A- July 12, 2012. We found a house listed on Ebay. It was listed as “move in and clean up”. We figured it would need a few repairs too.
B- We emailed the man back and forth. Mr. Friedl stated, “I am a retired Attorney and not going to cheat anyone.”
C- July 13, 2012My daughter sent the money to him.
D- Mr. Friedl sent the deed and a couple keys to us.
E- My daughter writes her chain of events around this house.
F- July 30, 2012We came home from Osborne Kansas with several pictures. I email Mr. Friedl with great details about the house. Said I would send him pictures when I got home from work. It is them that he discontinued his email and just disappeared with my daughters’ money. Luckily she had not filed the deed. We have not been able to reach him. Ends up that he had never seem this house that he took our money for. He used the Lawyer statement to gain our trust and then was gone. This Attorney used his attorney status to gain trust and take advantage of my daughter. Which is why we are contacting you.

- Wow!!! that is all I have to say about this man. I have been renting from him since he bought my house from prior landlord. And he just gets to do what he wants because he is not from Kansas he is from California. He told me he could not afford to fix the house because he was on SSI but I'm a single mother and can't fix it either and there really isn't a lot of places to rent here.
