Microsoft Tecchnology and Services Scam.

If anybody calls you claiming to be from Microsoft Technician & Services and starts talking about potential viruses that could have been downloaded to your PC. Do not believe them. Hang up your phone. Do NOT give them ANY of your details. Do not do what they tell you to do with your PC to open up an application of theirs (A VIRUS that will be downloaded). This all a scam. They do this to obtain your bank details. I was caught Wednesday night at 9:30pm, 18th July 2012. Tell them that you will be having your phone monitored by police to trace their call or something!

I checked up on these people the following morning by calling Microsoft. I was told that it’s all a BIG scam. These people are based in Calcutta, India. I checked the postal address this woman gave me. It is a townhouse being sold on the real estate market. The phone number she gave me does not exist. She gave me a false name and employee ID. It all sounds legitimate, but it REALLY IS all garbage. After I found out about this scam and had my PC cleaned of malware by a local professional computer technician, these criminals still had the nerve to call me back quite a few times afterwards. In the end I became very tired of them hassling me and was very nasty to one of them. But straight after this the idiot still called me, but I did not answer. They are smart enough not to let the phone ring long enough to let the message service on my phone record their number though. So please pass on this message to your friends and do not be like me and get sucked in.
