My daughter was insured by Minnesota Life Insurance Company. She passed away in August, 2011. To date this policy benefits have not been paid. The beneficiary sheet was removed and made null and void from the policy by the insurance company with no real plausible excuse. They have made up their rules as they go along. Apparently whoever handles the claim sympathized with another family member and made the policy assets accessible to them, thereby removing the beneficiary sheet. As of July, 2012 the benefits have not been paid.
