Thomas Brady called my mother's cell phone at least 5 times this date stating that he was the Deputy Director of the American Sweepstakes and Promotion company (the # he gave was 717-889-0661) and that she had won a Chevrolet Malibu and 2.5 million dollars in a drawing done in Rochester, New York. After checking the internet the company seemed legitimate. He stated she needed to get a greendot money pak card for the amount of $499.00 so the proper filing fees and registration papers for (the state of Texas) would be in order when they delivered her check for the prize winnings due to be delivered on the 27th of this month. He gave me the name of Agnes Tikowski with the Texas Gaming Commission in Austin, Texas. There is NO SUCH office. I called the number on the green dot card and she has a -o- balance. $ 500.00 down the tubes. I am forwarding this complaint the Attorney General's office In Texas. He stated that all the monies she expended would be reimbursed back to her. Yeah, Right. In my opinion, this is cruel and inhuman for the elderly.
