I am in dispute with Directv about an Early Cancellation Fee (240.00) that I was unaware of, as I had been a Directv customer for several years. I had requested a copy of a signed Agreement showing that I agreed to pay this fee. I received no reply from Directv at all.
Today (6/29/12) Directv processed a payment from my Bank Account for the above amount, using prior payment information without my knowledge nor authorization. Again I did not know that because I authorized a ONE TIME PAYMENT to my Directv Account in the past, this automatically gave Directv the authorization to take any amount, at any time from my Bank Account. Can this be legal????
