WOW I don't know where to start with Hendrik Honer. I was looking to purchase a very specific piece of art work. I contacted a few brokers that I came across online. I came across Hendrik Honer's website and ran acorss his name across some forum as well. Hendrik Honer assured me that he would be able to find the piece that I wanted for my collection in a quick manner. I'm very careful when it comes to dealing with people over the internet because you just don't know the crap people will pull. I felt comfortable dealing with him and I also got references shortly after. I went with Hendrik because his fee was the lease. Hendrik Honer told me that he usually requires a refundable deposit that is held in a escrow account. I wired him $5,000. Hendrik Honer assured me again that he would contact everyone he knew to find this particular piece of artwork. Hendrik Honer also told me he could have the painting in my hands in no less than 120 days. After a month time of constant communication it seems like Hendrik Honer disappear off the face of the earth. Hendrik Honer wouldn't return my calls, emails or Facebook messages. When I was finally able to get in contact with me he told me he was in a meeting and he would have to call me back. One day I check the escrow account and $2,500 was missing and I was irritate and livid. Hendrik Honer gave me his word that nothing would be touched in a escrow.... WHAT type of escrow is this? Immediately I called him and it went straight to voice mail. After this I started to get really suspicious. The next day the rest of the money out the escrow disappeared. 3 days later I get a call from Hendrik Honer about my painting. The price was almost 5 times what was discussed and it wasn't the exact painting. I yelled at him about the money in the escrow account. He told me that he would have it in there the next business day the bank made an error. LONG STORY I never received the painting and I'm out of $5,000. POST MATTER I did some investigation into Hendrik Honer 's background. I found out that Hendrik Honer resides in Palm Beach Fl and according to some records he has never had an address on file yet alone utilities in his name, he doesn't even have a valid driver's license. Henrik Honer posing like a art broker that suppose to be making money doesn't even have a drivers license? IT DOESN'T MATCH UP. I've also found that Mr. Hendrik Honer has a pending legal issue with the local immigration department in FL. Don't let Mr. Hendrik Honer's personality, accent and fancy website get the best of you! DO YOUR HOMEWORK FOLKS.
Folks, stay away from Hendrik Honer. Hendrik Honer is someone who does not have any morals, is a liar, and is the world's sneakiest human being. Hendrik Honer is a scammer, scam artist, fake art dealer, and will commit any crime in order to get his green card from the Vermont Service Center of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
