This person had a flyer put up at my school for a job as a personal assistant working about 10 hours a week for $14 an hour, just to run some errands. As a college student, I jumped on the opportunity to make some extra money to help pay my bills. She told me I would be shopping for items and she would prepay me and send me pictures of what to buy and I could ship items to her P.O. box, so it sounded like a pretty easy job. My first task was to send money to the Phillipines in the form of a money transfer through Western Union. She sent me a check for $1,950 and I was to keep $100 for myself, send $1,800 to her supplier Cara Peterson in the Phillipines, and then pay the fee from the remaining $50 and give her the MTCN (the number that you need to pick up the money at any western union). I completed the task and gave her the number she needed and 3 days later I had $1,950 missing from my bank account.
