This is a Minecraft (popular computer game) server that allows pirated versions of the game to be played on it. What they do is let people play for free, but have you pay money if you want any of the "perks." They're at least smart enough to call these payments "donations," so I don't know if this will work. Nevertheless, I made about 5 days ago ($30.00). This morning I'd been playing, logged off, ran some errands, made another donation ($20.00 to upgrade perk package) and went to log on. Turns out they'd closed my account. They didn't even tell me why. After a bit of aggravating correspondence, they informed me I'd violated the rules. This isn't true at all. The original message was just "ur a piece of shit," and they got even more obscene when I wasn't able to pull the proper appeal information off of this. The server says it can harbor up to just over 1300 players, when in fact it lags after about 120. Coincidentally, they're able to keep it around that number and after some digging I've found out why. A good portion of the appeals are from what they call "VIP Players," which are ones that have already made a donation. The "perk" packages top out at $100.00 dollars, and what it appears is that they get what they think they can out of players then ban them. I tried asking for the $20.00 back, due to the fact I was no longer a player at the time of the donation. They told me to "f**k off." Now, even though they classify these payments as "donations," they call what you get in return "perks." If i'd of done something wrong, that would be one thing, but I didn't. I should have known the server was shady when they allow "cracked" (pirated) versions of the game to access the server, that's my fault.
